Does anyone know how your supposed to get this thing off with normal hand tools. I really really don't want to screw with the differential. I was told by the guy that I bought it from that I can easily remove them without touching the front differential, not quite sure how though........

Are you talking about the motor mount? The are bolt & nutted. You have to build a wrench to get in under the frame if I remember correct Maybe I used an impact 3.8 drive with a 3/8 x 1/2 extention. When new they only paid 2 hours to change both sides under warranty with motor in.

Yea the picture link above shows what im trying to remove. It is annoying, I got the passenger side easily you can just use a socket and a wrench. With this side the differential is blocking the way to get in there, and I would hate to have to remove it

Why did GM think it was a good idea to put nuts on the other side of those good god haha. The guy who built them said to use a open ended wrench but that barely worked on the passenger side where there was no differential underneath it
Also I think your talking about the rubber motor mount, im talking about the frame mount

Success the trick is to use the boxed end of the wrench where the breather tube is for the differential
