the air in the front is blowing at normal room temp. Placed gauges on the low and high ports. the low reads at 50deg and the high at 300deg. this is at 93deg ambient temp. could the compressor be going out, if the guages are reading normal?according to the diagnostic manual/chart this is a normal reading,Please help!! beforeI got to the dealer or local mechanic.:uhoh:

If the compressor is not cycling, it very well could be your problem. Have you tried to put in some 134A? try to put in a small can to see if that makes a difference. Also, you might want to check your fuses and relays before you start looking at buying a new compressor. Try the freon trick first, then go to the fuses and relays.

I did try to add freon but the pressure would never go above 50deg on the low side. the can never got cold, it seems the freon was not being sucked in. The compressor would only kick in when the a/c was turned on, i never did see cycle on or off. Thanks for your advice!

Do you have rear a/c? If you do and it's cold your 134 level is fine. Could be a blend door issue.
