Good Price for a d16a6 installed?

I recently had to get my 89 CRX SI emmission tested, in it's 20th year with 300K miles on it, it failed. The emmissions tech told me it was running about three times as rich as the test allowed.
I took it to a local shop and they said I had only 15# of compression in #3 and said it probably needed a valve job. So I was going to remove the head myself and take it to a machine shop to get the head/valves done. I did some searching on the internet and found a local company that had used imported Japanese engines for sale. I asked them to provide a quote to remove my engine and install the repacement.
Since the engine was going to be out I asked them to take care of replacing the clutch as well. The quote came back $1750.00 installed including tax. One year warranty on the engine against smoking or knocking and a one month warranty on labor.
I figured the head work on my engine would have cost me anywhere from $800 to $1,000 and the rest of the engine still had 300k miles and would need work in the near future so I went for the engine replacement.
I dropped the car off yesterday, they said it would be about a week and it would be finished.
The business checked out through the Better Business Buerau with an A rating.

That's not really that bad of a deal. Motors on average are around $500-$700, and in my shop I charge a flat rate of $500 for a straight motor swap, so that's $1200. Add the clutch ~$200 and some extra labor, and with the warranty, $1750 isn't really that bad of a price. Not something I would have paid (but I do all my own work, so it's a completely different mindset). lol

Thanks for the reply 4G4D Store.
The engine was $745 labor to install $495 misc parts such as timing belt, cam seals, rearmain seal, oil, oil filter, gaskets were an additional $190. The clutch kit installed $169.
I really did not want to work on the car so I felt it was a pretty good deal.

Ya, that's a great price for new seals and stuff too.
