got this here fiero that had been sitting for about 2-3 years before i bought it.
found it under pretty beat up lookin tarp.
after i towed it home i replaced the battery, plugs, alternator, and gave it a thorough carb cleaning.
fired right up after those parts were replaced! :D
but while running the engine will (without any warning whatsoever) begin to sputter and the check engine idiot light comes on. if i dont immediatley stomp my foot down on the accelerator, it will undoubtedly stall out.
i realize that the fiero has what is called a "distributor-less" ignition system. i've never dealt with this system before.... i'm thinking it could either be something in that system, the plug wires, or even something clogging the fuel lines.
i plan to swap the extremely inexpensive fuel filter within the next few days, hopefully thats the problem.
any ideas?
(on a side note, anyone know a good place to get mounting brackets for the rear spoiler for cheap? the threads in the spoiler are completely broken and stripped out...)

so last night i learned my temp guage is out of commision.
sittin at a red light, idiot light came on.
immediatley shut it down, and my friend and i pushed it the rest of the way home. (about a good 3/4 mile...)
anywho. bought myself a aftermarket temp guage and ima install it this afternoon.
along with the new fuel filter i bought. that is, if i can find my 16mm wrench for the fuel lines...:/
still no ideas on the sputtering? anyone?
