Labor Cost for Valve Cover Gaskets?

What would you say the standard/average (or reasonable) charge would be for labor on a valve cover gasket job (both sides) on the 3800 SII S/C engine?

Go to the dealership. there was a recall on the valve cover gaskets and it might be covered as Pontiac had to replace them. The gaskets would readily fail and the oil would hit the exhaust manifold and catch fire. A shop might charge you for a few hours labor and then the parts (maybe $300+). Its not too difficult of a job and I know there is a write up here somewhere. If not autozone.com has free repair guides.

The dealership only replaces the front valve cover gasket and puts some modified spark plug retainer on there.

It is a very easy DIY job that even I can't screw up, so anyone can do it with regular hand tools.

Well, I already had the dealership fix the front one under the recall, but the rear one was the one that was leaking....
