97 Sunfire GT 2.4L having problems starting....

I have 1997 Pontiac Sunfire GT 2.4L. It starts,sometimes takes a few tries to fire up, but it will run fine, but when I shut it off and try to start it right back up, it either doesn't start or starts and jugs out. If I let the car sit for 20 mins before starting it again, it fires up. What is going on here!? :banghead:
