Help please 94 Chrysler Concorde want start

:confused:Hello..an any one help? I have a 94 Chrysler Concorde it starts but with in 3 seconds it shuts off i went so far as having my son turn the ignition over as i listen to the fuel pump .. it did as it said it should do according 2 the break down book for my car but it still want stay on.. i was thinking it could b the pcm, but i really don't know
Just the day before it ran good .. can someone please help this is my only means of transportation?:banghead:

Did you ever get it fixed? What was it? Was it the crankshaft position sensor?

Here is what I found in a repair manual.......

This no-start test checks the camshaft position sensor and the crankshaft position sensor. Refer to the ignition coil tests before commencing with this test, much time may be saved if the problem lies within the coil.

The PCM supplies 8.0 volts to the camshaft position sensor and crankshaft position sensor through one circuit. If the 8.0 volt supply circuit shorts to ground, neither sensor will produce a signal (output voltage to the PCM).

When the ignition key is turned and left in the ON position, the PCM automatically energizes the Auto Shutdown (ASD) relay. However, the PCM de-energizes the relay within one second because it has not received a crankshaft position sensor signal indicating engine rotation.

During cranking, the ASD relay will not energize until the PCM receives a crankshaft signal. Secondly, the ASD relay remains energized only if the PCM senses a camshaft position sensor signal immediately after detecting the crankshaft position sensor signal.

So, I think it will end up being the camshaft position sensor that has failed. The car will run without the cam sensor signal. It may not run well, but it will not shut down. I feel that the cam sensor is getting warmed up and is losing connection internally. I will find out and we will get to the bottom of this.

No car has ever beat me. I am one of those guys that refuses to allow a machine to conquer me. Ha Ha.

my lincoln is doing the same thing but has gas in the oil and too much oil.............i was told it was the crank shaft sensor too, also to check all the relays.. but what i dont know is whats with my oil???? Good luck.

bcm thinks it has alarm , told pcm it has alarm shut down asd relay
