Hey everyone,

I am in mid restoration of my Baby. I had a question about my body mounts. Has anyone ever replaced just one bushing, or, do you NEED the complete set?

I will answer the question with a question.

If you are doing a restoration, why in the world would you replace only one bushing?

Replace them all.

I found the rear body mounts go first...carbody rust..
I've replaced/repaired support metal...bushings there..

bushings are bushings are bushings...
all that matters is the height, inner dia and outer dia...
if you were an off-roader, you would install taller bushings for a body lift.
if you are interested it better handling/better feel, you would replace them with polyurethane delrin or steel bushings
if you only replace one, you can expect the rest to fall off the car a week later
