That's it, I can't take it any more. I'm cracking and getting a smaller pulley. The stock size is 3.8", correct? Is the next step down a 3.4"? Where is the best place/deal that you all know of to get one?
I have a 2.5" cat-back exhaust / resonator delete and I'm wanting to get a high-flow cat and a U-bend delete will be next. Are any more mods needed in order to handle a 3.4" pulley or will the stock applications handle it okay? How much boost (lbs) would be added from going to 3.4" from stock?

3.8 is the stock size pulley. You should open up the exhaust before changing pulleys as it will diminish the performance by not allowing the engine to breathe. You should also get a cold air intake too. The stock cat flows pretty well but if you want a high flow cat the magnaflow is a good one and not that expensive. I would go with the modular pulley. Try ZZP for the pulley. The modular pulley setup will allow you to change the pulley more easily if you decide to change back or to another size. Remember you will need a puller to remove the old pulley and to install the new one or the hub for the modular one. You can't do the change over without one. As for the amount of boost I have no idea what the smaller pulley wil produce.

Ok, so U-bend delete first? I'm guessing with a smaller pulley, a CAI, and an opened up exhaust, you'll want to get a programmer for sure?

I would spend the money on getting the PCM reprogrammed as it will optimize the modifications. I recommend the DHP reprogramming.

Take a look at my MOD's. I am running a 3.4" pulley with the stock exhaust except for a high flow cat and u-bend gone. I also do not have a cold air intake. I started out with a DHP PCM with a 1.0 Bin on it. With the 1.0 I had about 4 degress of burst KR at WOT. I have since updated to a DHP 1.5 Bin and did some custom tuning and now the highest I have seen my KR is .5 degrees.
Also for some reason I dont think DHP is a company anymore. At least I can't find their PCM's for sale anymore.
PM me if you are interested in DHP and we may be able to work something out....

Thanks man! We are all hands on deck saving for a down-payment until February or so, so after we move (please, please, please...) I'll probably have permission  to get some toys! :ylsuper: It's going to kill me to wait that long, but at least then I'll have a garage for my babies. :grinyes:
