Heater Hose Disaster

Hello,
I have a 99 ford taurus 3.0 I was changing the heater hose located by the thermostat outlet, when the nipple came off with the hose. At first, I thought well I'll just change the nipple and that should fix things, so I removed the two sensors that are in the housing where the nipple protrudes from. Next I started to remove it by twisting it with an adjustable wrench and after a few spins the housing does not seem to coming out of the intake manifold.
I was just wondering if any else had experience this?
thanks Lowside
