Busas are UGLY no matter which way you lay them down. :o
That's not the only Turbo-ed Busa. I also know of atleast 2 that are on the NO bottle. I know of one person who took a Busa to 80mph in 1st gear and still had room to move. I think the fastest speed I've heard of in 1st gear is an even 100mph. That's just stupid. They're cumbersome bikes, and only can go fast in a straight-away. What fun is that??? The reason you get a bike is for the handling in turns, and this thing is a joke on anything with a bend, so I've been told. Thanks, but I'll stick to bikes that are FUN in the twisties.

I think they look mean from the sides, but I'll agree that the front is pretty damn fugly. I have a soft spot for sport bikes, and I really wanna get one eventually. but not as a daily driver.. something for fun on the weekends. I've known a few people who have either owned or ridden busas and never heard any complaints about handling persay... they do all say that it's a heavy bike, but most say they like that, cause it feels like it's really sitting on the ground well. I used to have a video of a busa racing down the highway.. cam was mounted basically between rider's legs so you could see the speedo, but also see the road.. the thing popped a wheelie and stayed on one wheel till 135, then got down and dirty and pulled like hell until about 200, at which point I guess the guy punked out. Oh well.. it was awesome.

Dude, you have no idea what 200mph feels like on your body... I "punk out" at anything over a buck. The first time I rode MY bike home I thought my helmet was going to tear my head off, and it was only 70mph!!! Granted, I do have a year of riding experience now, and I also have ridden other bikes at higher speeds, so the fear is a lil less, but it gives you a good idea of what your car feels like when you push it. It's also scary to think the only thing between your ass and the pavement is some leather and a lil foam (provided you ride with good attire).
Scary but AWESOME things, bikes are.

enter the dodge tomahawk.. they put a viper 10 cyl engine on pretty wheels and put handlebars on it. :D Faster than the busa.. tested at 325mph before the rider started feeling uncomfortable and slowed to land speed. Estimated to be able to push 400 mph. 500 horses and 525 lb-ft of torqu on a frame that weighs 1.500 lbs. All I can say is dizzam... turbo that.. I dare ya!

i don't think it was ever test or it ever will be tested last i heard no one would dare drive it and the estimated top speed was 300mph not 400
i don't think the human body could wistand the strain of goin that fast but all in all that bike is still pretty nuts

I was watching a video of a turbo'd busa at a LAN party the other night...guy had it up to 220mph once on the freeway...also taking corners at 120+...cumbersome? Hardly!

Interstate sweepers are not twisties. I'll stick to the sportbikes that are native to the track: 600cc<bike<1 liter

Yea im with amish,I have not heard they tested it and also heard it was estimated for 300 mph. I think they would have to chain the guy down to the bike for him to be able to stay on it going that fast. That is just nuts.

The Hyabussa is so bad ass! One of my friends test drove one and said its a struggle to keep the front wheel on the ground...."it has so much power". He loved it though. The tomahawk is a piece of crap! It'll never get made and if it does you'll never see em on the rode b/c they'll make so few of them that people will just buy em for their collection. Its ugly as hell too. There's no need for the car makers to start making bikes now, all they'll do is screw em up i.e. the Tomahawk.

Well, as I write this, I've just ridden shotgun for the first time on a mates 650cc bike with staintune muffler and high-comp pistons. I am still picking seat material from my sphincter.....scary enough for teh 0z...
