When I turn the ignition key to start position the speedometer and tack peg out for a instant and vehicle won't start. There's a click when key is turned on which I assume is the fuel pump. Any body have similar probems? In the recent past we had a problem with the body control module. Removed the fuse and it cleared that probem. Help....

If you wiggle the key in the "start" position, does that change anything? Thinking maybe an ignition switch is to blame.

Thanks for the response Houston. Key wiggle didn't get her done.

*If it's safe* , try going beneath the van. See if the click is from the starter solenoid, fuel pump or what. See if you've got 12 volts going to it. The starter should have two lines, a switched 12v to the solenoid, and 12V direct from the battery to power the starter. The ground comes from the chassis.
If it's just solenoid clicking, try taking the starter off and hot wiring it to the battery. It might tell you something.

Stan
