Window glass

I have noticed that when it rains, the drops on the glass in my 98 GP are nor removed when I lower the glass. We had a fairly heavy downpour last night and it was impossible to see on either side. I had to stop and use a chamois to dry the glass. Is there an easy cure for this?

windex all your windows twice and the put 2 coats of rainx on them. With rainx, it can be a dounpour and you'll be driving at 55mph and the rain will fly right off. You wont even need your wipers.

I guess I was not clear in posing my question. My problem is with the glass in the doors. When it rains and I lower the glass, it does not remove the water and I cannot use the side mirrors.

I guess I do not understand your question.

After it rains and there is water on the windows, when I lower the glass it does not remove any of the water and I cannot see outside. It looks as if the piece of plastic/felt which is part of the door does not touch the glass.

As Tim suggested clean the door windows 2x with windex and then treat with rainx, and that will fix your problem with not being able to see out the window.

Yeah, the felt/weatherstripping is not meant to wipe rain off your windows.

are you saying that there is moisture building up on the inside of your windows? you might wanna check the heater core...

Thanks for the tips. I will get some Rain-X and apply it along with the windex as TBlake suggested.
