Luke: needed your advice

Luke,

I sent the following email to you this week and did not get a reply. The sales staff at Tirerack.com were very helpful (and forthright) so I took the plunge and made the purchase. I know that you have a pretty good warrantee program, but sending four wheels and tires at 200 lbs of freight isn't exactly what I'd call a picnic.

Anywho, I'm hoping that I did the right thing. As you'll see, I'm extremely particular about tire vibration and hope that this tire/wheel combination rides smoothly for me.

Luke,

I own a '96 Seville SLS with Michelins. My car has the factory chrome wheels. I currently have a really good combination of ride and quiet. I'm looking for a smooth, quiet ride (only thing that drives me crazier than tire noise is tire vibration/roughness).

I'm contemplating the purchase of a set of Michelin Energy MXV4s in 225/60R16 along with a set of Sport Edition Fox wheels in 16x7. I was thinking about the LX4s, but your website rates the Energys higher in comfort and noise. I plan to purchase them mounted and balanced by your firm, and I usually run around 34psi.

Will this combination make my car feel like I'm riding on concrete blocks? Does wheel selection affect tire ride/noise, or is that an incredibly stupid question?

I'm open to any semi-reasonable suggestion and I thank you for your time.
