Explorer and the CFC Program

Doesn't look like the 1994 to 1999 Ford Explorer is faring well in this program as it makes up 60% of the Top Ten vehicles traded in .
The Top Ten Cash for Clunkers Trade-Ins:
1. 1998 Ford Explorer
2. 1997 Ford Explorer
3. 1996 Ford Explorer
4. 1999 Ford Explorer
5. Jeep Grand Cherokee
6. Jeep Cherokee
7. 1995 Ford Explorer
8. 1994 Ford Explorer
9. 1997 Ford Windstar
10. 1999 Dodge Caravan

This will probably end up causing issues in obtaining used parts in the future for these vehicles as well as drive up the price of these parts due to lesser availability.

I owned the 1996 Explorer and it was a cash eating machine. After the month it sat at the transmission shop i had enough. Good to see them off the rode.
