'70 Dodge Charger

This started as the amt 'Fast & Furious' '70 Charger. The main issue is the awful fit of the front grille / headlight section with the body. As you can see from the photos lots of filling and re-shaping is necessary to get it looking anything approaching reasonable! Also the grille is different to a proper 70 Charger, but I still think it will look pretty mean, especially if I make it black and detail it properly. The kit also comes with the Torquethrust style wheels plus only 2 of the steel wheels you see in the photos. I may combine the 2 types, or go for different wheels altogether?

Nice blending in of the ill fitting front grille section. I would go for the Torque Thrust type 5 spoke wheels.

A bit more progress. I've applied grey primer. I haven't done the bonnet (hood) yet as I'm currently removing the weird bonnet mounted indicator mould lines. I scribed lines to try and replicate the front chrome grille surround. This was really difficult and needed intense concentration but I needed to do it to give myself a line to take the BMF to when I get to that stage. The overall shape is not quite the same as the real 70 Charger but it's near enough and still looks cool I think. I'm not going to do it as the Fast & Furious version. I'm going to go for a stock type look with the wraparound grille as close as I can get to original style with the headlights switched on look (not hidden). Colour wise I was thinking of a metallic copper, metallic dark green. Let me know what you think. Photos follow:
