Did not see that kind of scoop, AND those are Generation 2 Altezza Carbon Fiber Tails for Maxima. Those tails come in Carbon Fiber (as u see on that picture) and also they come in Chrome. At custommaxima.com those tails (speaking of Carbon Fiber) are 189 dollars+shipping.

Get read/clears. I cleared mine out myself with help of my friend. You can get the directions at maximadriver.com in HOW2 section.

Its not hard at all. It took me about an hour total to do both. The only thing that it was easier for me that I didnt do the clear inserts myself. Some guy was selling 6 pairs of them on the maxima.org about 4-5 months ago. So I bought a pair. Another reason it took me about an hour, because one of the nuts didnt want to come off, when I was removing one of the tails from the body. Another thing... THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT!!! IF you deside to do the tails urself, PLEASE be very carefull taking the tails apart!!!!!!! The corner of the tail (the sharp one) is VERY VERY delicate piece and very easy to brake when u take the tails apart. I broke both tails, its not notticeble but if you look straight on it, you will see the crack.

All I can say is that is a nice hood scoop but if the Hoodscoop isn't functional, IMO then it shouldn't be placed on the car because it only attracts the attention of turboed or really fast cars challenging you because they think you have something extra or extra special under the hood.
But much props to the man and his unique Hoodscoop, I like it and I think it looks tight.

It looks like a subaru legacy hood. IMO, it makes the front end look tooo busy for my style.

i like the kit on the second max, looks nice and clean, without all the stupid ridges and suck of the flashier kits. take the rear window spoiler and the rain protector things off, and that max would be very nice

It kind of look like the ones you see on the Toyota 4runner and the Tacoma Sport.

Yea, it seems to be more for looks.
I know this is a late response but I've been "gone" for the weekend.
