can i disable awd bravada 02

well thanks to all who have responded, you be a great help,
now i have a question, i am ok with my 02 bravada in 2wd, all the time , anyone know how to turn off the smart track ? our weather up here in oregon is pretty mild all year ,just a bit wet not much snow @ all so i dont really need awd
any and all help would be great

You're in 2WD unless the system detects slip. Disabling the AWD really isn't necessary.

If you didn't want AWD, why didn't you buy a 2WD Jimmy/Blazer?

ok , from what i have read theres a lot of problems with it/ that i dont need , and i didnt buy it it is my wifes , ahe had before we married, its has cost me a grand already, and the awd light is back on , its in 2wd now and runs fine , why dump more money into it for a week a year i need awd. the wife had it because she lived in minnasota ,ok
so do you know how to diable it ? any help is ok\

try removing the ATC fuse which is under the hood. this should prevent the transfer case motor from engaging.
