Fuel Line with the plastic things on the end

My fuel line is leaking. It's the one that connects to the metal line that comes off the top of the fuel tank, to the fuel filter.
I thought they where common, but no place has them. It's only a few feet.
I saw on a post where someone priced one at the dealer for around $70.
Seems kind of steep for a few feet of rubber hose.

Anyone know a place to get fuel line cheaper then $70?

Chris.

that is deffinetly a stealer item my sisters bonni i had to replace that onelDid you do any work on it before it leaked, or did it just start leaking?

Wonder if I could just use fuel line and a couple of those round circle clamps?

Can't figure out why the places on the internet that sell GM Parts have everything but fuel lines?

Most national part suppliers have two types of fuel hose 'low pressure fuel hose' and 'fuel injection hose' but you need to make it clear what you want and then check what they bring you! Yes, the worm screw clamps will work fine, we are only talking about 55 psi max!

Just went back and looked. Wanted to be acurate. It's about 1ft. long, not 3.
1ft of rubber or plastic hose for $60+ is a scam.

Should of been an auto dealer.

Others sell fuel pumps, sending units, screens, but no Fuel Lines for a 97 Lesabre.

Correction: 1 foot of hose $73+ tax at the Dealer.

NAPA sells the line with one end with the fitting and one end with nothing. We cut one end off and hooked it to the new one.
Fix cost $18.00.

Now I have to take it all off pretty soon and replace the sending unit. :disappoin

Without starting a new thread (it's kind of the same part or at least it's connected), I see sending units with two different Codes (HEN, HER and "CRD").

In the pictures they look identical, but one is $42.92 and the other is $116.00.
None come with a pump, so it's the unit itself that looks the same but does anyone know why one is so much more?

Also, anyone want to bet me I have the most expensive one?

I posted i changed my sisters bonneville hose did you look and see if your line was rusted that is why i needed to change her line and when i changed it it ended up to be the metal line from the sending unit was rusted 130 $ at auto zone and about 4 hr work or you could just replace one side with the repair line

Thanks, mine was a little rusted. I've done it twice this year, next will be the 3rd time this year (same car).

I have it down fast now:)
