Has anyone tried a pace setter header on a 99 G (91-94 sentra- se-r). In the stillen book all the sr20 engines share the same header and I was wondering if it was the same for the pacesetter since it's a hell of a lot cheaper. $239 from jc witney $139 in black
If I replace my exaust resonator with a small glass pack will I get increased performance without increased noise.

Pacesetter sux....  any company that makes a header for a geo metro is retarded. Those headers lack quality and craftsmanship i like my Hotshot header just fine and it was only about $100 more for that then a pacesetter....as for the glass pack i'm not sure..

You could swap it out, but i think it would be more trouble than it's worth. A full cat back system will probalby net you 5hp tops, and that's for full mandrel bent piping, a 2.25" resonator and free flowing exhaust. just the resonator and the rest stock in possibly a hp or two, if that. I'd save the money and go with a full catback exhuast instead. You should be able to fit a rather large resonator below, along with at least an 18" muffler. I don't think it would be that loud, depending on choice of resonator and muffler, but then again, i havn't built mine yet, so i'm not exactly sure yet.
