ok i ran into a few problems
my revell saleen i guled the engine on but it seems slanted
how can i un-glue the engine?
problem 2
i got some glue on the dash board
how do i remove/camuflage it?

for the dashboard, try sanding the glue off, and repainting the spot. I know if you used cement, it could melt some of the paint and plastic, so carefull sanding should fix it.

Try putting it in the freezer for a hour or two so the glue can freeze and you'll just be able to snap it off.

Oooh, an idea which never cross my mind, good suggestion.
Just hope my other parts attached to it doesnt snap too.

I think the glue should snap before the plastic does, should be safe.
Not sure though havent tried this technique.

i got a litle paint on a decal so would the decalbe ok if u use paint thinner to take off?

DXP, I'm positive that it'll ruin the decal, because it'll treat it as a residue! But, why don't you test it out on the "scrap" pieces of the decal sheet(ex. kit# or name).

Not unless you make it....the glue become britttle before the plastic does, so the amount of effort to remove the engine would be less than it would be to crack the plastic.
BTW, the freezer trick is a tried and tested method of getting parts apart.

The freezer trick is really only for tube glue I think. Liquid glue contains lots of plastic solvent so it will weld the plastic together.
