My evaporation canister is filled with water!!!

Due to a recent flood, my evaporation canister is filled with water. The Honda dealership said that it would 300 dollars to fix! Seemed a little pricy to me. Is there anywhere else that I can fix it for a cheaper price, or better yet, could I fix it myself? Or would my warranty cover it? It's a 2008 year model, and I only have 26000 miles on it. PLEASE HELP A POOR COLLEGE STUDENT!!!

Not much you can do in that situation, honestly 300 doesent sound bad considering whats involved. if theres water in the evap system, theres a good chance its in the fuel system, and water in your gas is not good. chances are the whole fuel system needs to be flushed to get rid of the water and be sure more problems wont arise. I'd take the $300.
