My honda 2008 odyssey's evaporation canister is filled with water!!!!

Due to an unnecessary and stupid flood, my Honda 2008 Odyssey's evaporation canister is filled with water. I took it to the dealership, and they're charging me 300 bucks to fix it. It seemed a bit pricy to me, especially since dealerships are more expensive. Does anybody know a better place???? OR does anybody know how I can fix it??? PLEASE HELP A POOR COLLEGE STUDENT!

Evaporative canisters are pretty expensive, as far as I know. You can try to buy it yourself. Installation should not be that complicated. www.hondaautomotiveparts.com is a good source for OEM parts. Good luck, Sam
