89 dakota

i got this 89 with a 3.9 in it,i cant get no fire to coil or fuel pump.i put the motor in from a different truck,i know the motor runs.i was told the crank sensor was bad but then i heard a 89 dont have a sensor by the tranny.there is 2 wires by the socket forthe neutral safety switch,one is black the other is white.where do these go?any help would be appreciated
