Can anyone shed some light on this wheel set (its the Aoshima 20 inch BBS LM wheels and tires):
http://www.hlj.com/product/AOS04641
1) Specifically, are they tires Bridgestones or Potenzas? 2) What is their size, if you have that handy?
Thanks!!!

Bridgestone makes Potenzas btw. As for the sizes, can you be more specific?

Brain fart. Should have posted to the other thread and proofread. My apologies. Are the tires bridgestones or pirellis? As for the size, what's the diameter and width of the Aoshima tires? Meaning, could someone who has the set measure them so I can translate what they would be in 1:1 scale. The other thread only dealt with the details of the fujimi tires. Thanks!

I just got mines today. I got Aoshima & Fujimi 20" BBS just to see which I like the most. I like them both even though they look different.
Aoshima

Fujimi

Both side by side.

The polished aluminum looking ones to the left are Aoshima and the crome on the right are Fujimi. Aoshima wheels are 2 part wheels without tire while Fujimi are one. With the Aoshima's looking so realistic, I can't help but love the larger crome look of the Fujimi wheels even though they both are considered to be 20" wheels. My conclusion is that both sets are well worth the purchase. Now, I need to figure out what car kit should I put them on.

What tires come in the Aoshima set? Thanks
The have the same Pirelli P Zeros that come in their other 19 and 20 inch sets. The rear wheels have a deeper lip, so the tires are too narrow to fit properly.

I was just about to do a review, i guess im too late. Gotta say the aoshima ones blow the fujimis out of the water. Great finish and a seperate lips makes them easy to paint.
On the hand the fujimi have an excellent chrome finish.
BTW if anyone needs me to post some pics of them measured, let me know.

That's great! Thanks for your help with the width measurements. Can you measure the face of the wheel, to verify that they are actually equivalent to 20 inches?

So both Fujimi and Aoshima wheels are in fact 21" wheels.

hwjapan.com should have them back in 7-14 days. Try all of the japanese websites as those are the ones that will get them the quickest. A lot of wesites have them as backorders though.

I bought a few pairs from the ebay user icanucan, who also runs an online store with the unlikely name "Kenncer." My latest set is in the mail. They're not cheap, but they arrive in a timely manner.
I'll trade a set of Aoshima 20" BBS for a set of Aoshima 18" BBS, in case anyone is interested. I'd also give up a set for a few other Aoshima 18" or 19" VIP sets. PM me if you want.
