Front End Noise

I have a noise from the front end that sounds like a humming noise. It is more noticeable when the speed is above 35 MPH and tends to get louder with speed. When I'm on the highway and steering to the right, It's really loud but much more quiet when turning to the left. It has gotten worse over the last couple of months. It's an '03 GA 3.4 L with 149,000 miles on it. My initial thought is wheel bearing but I thought I would run it by you guys for additional input and help. Thanks.

Yes you are right, it is the right front hub assy, and it needs to be replaced. There is also a write up in the tips and maintenance forum.

It turned out to be the left front hub assembly, got it fixed and took care of that. The mechanic who did it (I have him do the stuff I know I can't do) also said the tires are dipped from the bad wheel bearing he replaced. Just making sure but it sounds like they are worn in the middle and will probably need to be replaced whenever I get the $. Just let me know if that's the wrong assumption as I forgot to ask him before I left. The tires on the vehicle have ~ 22000 milles on them.
