I went to start my car and turned the key all the way and it kind of hesitated to start and then klunked out. I then tried again and it did the same thing except the light flickered also. I gave it one more shot and it didnt even make a starting noise. I then got out and popped the hood (with the keys out) and it sounded like the engine was running. even tho nothing was on. I then went home and came back in 15 minutes and the noise or what i thought was the engine was gone. It also smelled like kind of something had been burning like electrical perhaps. I then put the keys back in and tried staring the car and the keys turned all the way with no sign of a start and all of the lights were coming on. I have also had problems with the ignition to where the keys always get stuck in the iginition(if that helps figure this SHYT out) thanks.

What year? Model? and how many miles?
Sounds like it could be a starter issue. I would start by cleaning the corrosion off the battery cables, then have an assistant crank the motor and check for voltage at the purple wire on the starter.
