AC issue

Strange AC issue has started occuring lately. At times while the AC is running, suddenly a "fog" will start to blow out of the vents. The fog is not dust or dirt, it almost looks like dry ice fog or something. It is very strange. The AC system blows cold air and seems to be functioning properly and this fog is NOT a constant problem, it only happens from time to time. Has anyone experienced this before or know what this may be?

Sounds like excessive condensation. You might try running the system at "Max" or Recirculate which makes it a closed system and recirculates the inside air which is cooler and contains less humidity.

Turns out the heater core is leaking and needs to be replaced, the fog was actually steam..

Wow, sorry about that. Looks like it would smell like coolant...
