What Could It Be?

I have a small hose in which it appears to be connected to the evap emmission purge valve that will eventually need replacing because it's starting to see it's better days. Attached is a pic.

Sorry about that. Finally figured out what it was. It was the end part of the PCV valve tube. Attached is a pic of the whole part. I just thought the the u shape hose would be seperate.

ok I see now, ouch a dealer part!
The U end is a little different then Im used to seeing on my 99.

Ive changed my "L" end to just a straight hose and a L ooff the PCV. The L rubber part would always get oil soaked and collapse on me. :dunno:

Went to the local dealer & picked it up. With tax it was less than $9. It was cheaper thru GMparts Direct but the shipping made about $17.44. My son had a dental appt this morning that was only about 1/2 mile from dealer so it made the choice easy.
