CD player problems

Ok yesterday I hooked up some new front and rear speakers in my dx hatch. Well it worked great last nite. I wake up today and get in my car and boom the cd player is flashing with the beat of the song and then it shut off...what is the problem anyone know?

yeh thats what it sounds like to me, did u have ur car running?

Check and make sure the speakers arent grounding out on the door, that can draws lots of power and cause what your talking about...

That really pisses me off when they ground out in the doors !

ok thanks guys..i think my battery is going dead now too...my lights are very dim. so i dont know what the hell is going on...i know if its my electrical system im parting out my car.

check to see if their grounding out to the doors before you do anything drastic dude. That really sounds like its the problem.

Ya even a lose connect draws electricity. Where there is heat there is resistance and where there is resistance there heat!!!

ok i think i found the problem..my battery may be the problem..cuz now my lights are dim and the horn is really quiet. so hopefully that is the problem.

I dont mean to be a dick but I bet thats not the problem, get someone to look at it if you dont really know what your doing
