Honda S2000 Door Panels Now on Sale-Win a Set!

Here's the latest from my workbench: door panels for Tamiya's S2000 kits. They're meant to replicate the smooth, carbon fiber panels seen in race cars, so they're void of the standard features, except for door handles. Simply install the resin pieces in place of the kit parts, and that's it-aside from painting and detailing of course. They were built using the Tamiya parts as a base, so they fit just like they were a part of the kit from the start.

http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g112/Twentyspics/P1090064.jpg
Pricing has been set at $4.00 (Canadian) per set, and they can be bought from my website http://www.freewebs.com/tunedbytwenty/ (http://redirectingat.com/?id=252X400&url=http%3A//www.freewebs.com/tunedbytwenty/).
But here's where it gets good-I'm going to give away one set for free, (shipping's free too!). Here's what you do to enter-reply to this thread. Whoever has the twentieth reply will win (Not 20th post, but 20th reply). So post away. Post as many times as you want, but the more you post, the easier it is for someone else to win. After the thread has reached 20 replies, I'll be back to get in contact with the winner and to answer any questions that may have been posted along the way.
Good luck,
Bill

I would love a free sample. It would give me an excuse to pull the kit out and finish it and it could be the first article on the website I am working on (hope to have something to show soon).

Those are ill! I was going to try and offer up my corrected dash and door panels for the Fujimi Civic kits for sale, but you've raised the bar too high for mine to be acceptable. Very excellent work! I'll probably get a set when my girl's not looking :D

Reading the first post, I thought all I had to do was spam the thread until I got to the 20th post. The reason I did not do it was I felt someone else would be better to win the parts.
The one thing I don't understand is why anyone would have to use more than one log-on.
Either way, thanks to 20-20 for putting the parts up to win in the first place!

Really poor behaviour...

My thoughts exactly. I'm not sure what's going on with the apparent cheating but I hope whoever gets them puts them to good use. Would love to see how it looks finished. Thanks for the offering 1st one for free, twenty.

I'm kind of lost about the cheating situation here, but aside from that, OP said the winner would be the 20th reply. Since OP's post is post #1, then post #2 = reply #1, post #3 = reply #2 ... then wouldn't post #21 = reply #20?

I went back and reviewed all of the posts made to determine a new winner. To find out who had what I would consider the 20th reply, I ignored all posts which had been deleted by the users and those posted using fake accounts. Since that time another post or two has/have been removed, so if I were to count just the posts showing now the results would be different.
The new winner is joelwideqvist.
A big congratulations to him, and a big thanks to those who took part in this. I do plan on doing this again with future releases, but I'll change one or two details to make sure that the whole thing runs a bit smoother next time.

Now to go back and reply to comments posted along the way. Due to the amount of replies, I will not be replying to each individual comment which is just a comment. To those who I've not directly replied to, thanks for posting!

Don't let my doors discourage you willimo, by all means go ahead with your dash and door panels. I'm sure there are a number of us here, myself included who'd like to see them. To be fair, most of my casted parts don't look this good. The resin I use often results in subtle colour variations within parts, and tiny air bubbles are always present with resin. I like to save one of the select few (It is a very small number) that turn out perfectly for the photos.
Nice one! One question though: what scale are those modifier kits?
Thank you! The Modifiers I have on hand are all 1/43 scale, but they were also available in 1/64.

True, you are allowed to post as much as you want. Using more than one account though is going a bit too far.
For putting the parts up in the first place, it was an idea I'd wanted to try for a little while to see what kind of response it'd get.
I'm not sure what's going on with the apparent cheating but I hope whoever gets them puts them to good use. Would love to see how it looks finished. Thanks for the offering 1st one for free, twenty.
Not a problem KevHw. I'm planning to use one of the lower quality castings I have lying around, and paint/detail it to have my own finished version which I can use for the website.

You are correct! The winner would be whoever had post #21, which is reply #20. As I said in my post above, some posts have been deleted since I picked the winner, so don't be surprised if you find out that the person with reply number 20 didn't win.

Man, I remember when the Modifiers were cool 5 or 6 years ago. I got the Civic, Integ, Accord, and WRX. Just a few months ago while I was at Michael's, I found a yellow Civic with the display set on clearance for $2.50, I bought it in a heartbeat. :)
