i went to buy some paint for my audi today and came across this kit for only 25$ canadian so that's pretty cheap for this kit!
i just painted the body today so here are the pics

actually, it's a gm color but i wanted something that goes well with the lines of the car and i know there was some 959 with a dark red paint.
honnestly, i don't mind if it's not the original one, i'm not doing shows with my models. they stay on the shelf :tongue:
i'm not using the oem rims also. i have a set of deep dish 5 star wheels for porsche with wide ass tires!:naughty:

whoa there cowboy.
Care with the clear there; it looks like you're beginning to drown out some of the panel lines and I spy some pooling around some panel lines too.
Don't try to spray clear all in one go, especially with metallics because depending on the paints involved, the clear sometimes causes the metallic particles to "lift" from the colour layer into the clear layer.

don't worry, the clear was sprayed something like 10 seconds before i snapped the pic.
all panel lines are ok and i didn't spayed it all in once
i started polishing the body yesterday and everything is fine and glossy! :wink:
