2000 Explorer 4x4

2000 Explorer keeps burning up the right front.brake pads and rotor.
I'am thinking maybe a bad Master Cylinder,Not sure why it's only right Front??? Anyone have this problem??I replaced the Acceleration switch because it had that code. But that didn't stop it..

I'm not sure what an "acceleration switch" is, unless you're referring to the Throttle Position Sensor or a G sensor for the AdvanceTrac. Does your Explorer have AdvanceTrac?

If both pads on the right front are wearing evenly, just faster than the left front, I'd suspect you have a collapsed brake hose which prevents the caliper from releasing.

Are you hearing any odd noises when driving the Explorer, or feeling a vibration in the brake pedal? If your vehicle has AdvanceTrac, it could be possible that one of the front wheel speed sensors is not working. I would suspect the left front wheel speed sensor is reading open circuit. The AdvanceTrac system could read this is a right front wheel that is spinning so it applies brake to the right front to transfer torque to the left front. I would think in this scenario though that it would have some confusion with the rear wheels reading the same as the right front though.... My vote still goes to a collapsed brake hose of both pads are wearing evenly. If they aren't wearing evenly, then you probably have seized up caliper slide pins. With as hot as the brakes are likely getting either way, the grease for the slide pins is probably pretty gummy anyway and should be cleaned out and replaced.

Replaced caliper twice. The acceleration switch is a Mercury switch located on the drivers side frame rail. There is no codes showing for ABS. I think you're right about the brake Hose collapsing, I did not replace the hose.The only noise i hear is the control arm Bushings squeaking..
