2002 Cavalier 2.2 Performance

I am planning to buy a cavalier the base model with the 115 hp engine. Anyone know how much gas it use compare to the ecotec engine and the Z24 engine? And can the 115hp engine beat the Civic HB engine? thanks

The Cavalier I rented was peppy:confused: No record breaker, but it was faster than the Civic Vtec I test-drove... so its all a matter of perspective.

Where I live, you can get a Cavalier cheaper than an '02 Civic & there are more mods available. You won't get to hang out with cool Honda peeps, but whatever:smoka:

Believe me this thing was the biggest piece of shit ever ... later he got another LS which had more miles, but was a lot peppier, and was able to actually do ebrake slides ... maybe its cause it was red :p

I still would take a civic over a cavy any day of the week .. york2600's ex g/f used to have one and for the $5000 original price, plus the $4000 of repairs she did to it she coulda had an integra ... thank god she totaled that damn thing.

well in canada BC, a cavalier is alot cheaper than a civic......and the insurance of cavalier is like half the price of a civic thats why i think i am gonna get a cavalier.........hey by the way...how much gas does the 2.2 115hp engine use anyways......
