93 Park Ave Ultra A/C Issue

Recharged with a can now shows green on the gauge. The codes still shows 66. I removed the ground and tried to reset as per direction with the temperature control and the compresor still cycles off and on. The temperature control locks me out of automatic and the 66 code shows again. I was told there was a way to reset the A/C controls by switching the ignition off and on along with pressing the breaks. I also replaced the condensor. Can someone please send me step by step how to reset and recharge my A/C once I have replaced the condensor the charge is holding.

Disconnet the battery for a couple of minutes. It worked for me on my 92.
