Swapping Motor From 94 to 91 Celica GT ?'s

I blew the 5sfe motor in my 91 Gt. I got a motor from a 94 Gt 5sfe. I have had a lot of compatibility issues. I had to use my old wiring harness as the new one wouldn't match up so I had to use some odds and ends from my old motor such as the started and thermostat. My main issue I have reached is the valve cover and distributor. The 94 valve cover has a pcv valve which my 91 did not. The wiring harnesses on the distributor are also different so I am swapping the distributor from the 91 which means I had to use the old valve cover on the new motor which lacks this pcv valve. If I used the new valve cover and the old distributor the plug wires wouldn't match up and would leave an open gap for debris to get into the motor.
So basically my main ? is do i need to drill a new pcv valve or will the new motor be ok with the old valve cover on it. Thanks

Are you using the old intake manifold or the newer one. The engine probably vented somewhat differently on the older one. Do some more checking as the blocks should be close.
