2JZ or not??

can anyone tell me if the, 2003 Lexus IS300 has the non-turbo supra engine, the 2JZ or not, and if it does, is it possible to get a pair of turbos from a stock supra twin turbo w/ a 2JZ and put them in an IS???? plz lemme kno , thnx

its not that simple.. im not so sure on the specifics though. check out is300.net for more information ..

I don't know why it couldn't be done, but it would probably take some work though, and the N/A engine is the 2JZ-GE, and Turbo is 2JZ-GTE!:wink:

the 2JZ-GE and GTE are 2 absolutely different beasts. The cheapest turbo kit for a GE is a 5 grand T60 kit that puts out 8lbs of boost bumping it to about 320bhp. You can't just strap GTE goodies onto a GE engine.
