Hay every one whats up, I'm new here.
Regarding my 97 GS i'm changing the front rotors i have allready changed the callipers. nothing fancy just replacing stuff due to old age.
any sugestions? any thing i should be aware of before i start?
Also i have about 130K on the car, it uses a bit of oil but no blue smoke.
any one have any sugestions on keeping this thing going?
Also thinking of adding a cold air intake system, again nothing fancy, any one know of an ok one?
just looking for a little extra kick, so i could pass those pesky busses.
Thanks
Shah

Umm last time i checked if oil burned it was white..a nice air intake would be nice and a complete exhaust would be too..that way u never need have to change the exhaust again(stainless steel) Just keep the car in good maintance (oil changes, belts replaced, tires, etc) when time comes and that could help ur engine life..OH and i like Ingen CIA..easy install and i believes pulls in more air becuz its farther down...

White smoke is coolant from a possible head gasket leak, blue smoke is oil, black smoke is running rich.

easy cheasy nice and ease
all i can say about a 97 gs is it is an easy car to fix. the rotors came off easy due to the fact that the rotors had a build in puller to assist in removing the rotors.
and the replacement rotors were cheap about 30 a pop.
thank god for aftermarket.
now the isue of cold air. how much will i gain in HP?
because this GS engine is weak as weak can be. is it worth it?
i'll see what i can find
Thanks
Shah
