Ok heres the deal, I need some Nissan Advice. I was helping a friend of mine tune up his Nissan 240SX. We replace the distributor cap, rotor button, and the spark plugs. Once we got it done we took it for a test drive to see if it would help with some performance issues, of course it did. The car ran great, smooth with no problems. As soon as we pulled back into my shop the check engine light came on and the car stalled, and has yet to run agian. Even when cranking the engine over it doesn't seem to even be trying to fire. So we have double checked that it is firing and getting fuel to all the cylinders. We also double checked to make sure that the cap and rotor button didnt get damaged some how, and there fine.

One thing that is weird to me though is we can unplug every injector and the car actually tries to start. Me being a mechanic it just defies all that I know about a fuel injected car that it tries to start without the injectors but it wont even try to start with them.

What I need to know is what controls the fuel preasure on this old of a Nissian because to me it seems that the injectors are just flooding it out.

Oh yea by the way did I metion that I just hate OBD1 cars. :sarcasm1:
