Sluggish start

The truck is accelerating very slow from a dead stop. The engine is bogged down (tach and speed match so I don't think their is auto tranny slipping) especially when very hot outside like over 110 (in Phoenix). Check engine light is on the folks at autozone were confused over the Honda/Isuzu explanation. They gave me Honda codes CMP Sensor & CKP Sensor.

Any ideas?
