a little history on the car...bought it last fall, seller didnt understand why was loosing coolant...i replaced UIM and it fixed the problem. at the time it was throwing codes. 1) MAF 2) TPS i replaced the maf cause it was split in 2 pieces. i reset the computer and TPS has never come back. few weeks ago it threw a code for O2 sensor and then when out and hasnt come back. i replaced plugs and wires when i did the UIM.
OK. the car has a wierd problem that is not constant. it happens when the AC is on. when accellerating it acts like it is flooding. i can lift the throttle and it will sorta straighten out and it will make it shift hard when doing this. it doesnt do it all the time it its driving me crazy. when cruising down the road it runs great. seems like problemthe torq converter is locking in too early but again...not all the time:banghead: my driveability problems seem to be all realted to where the throttle is. if i take off like granny it is fine, if i accel sorta hard then no probelm. it seems like it happens when only moderate throttle is given. ever see a problem like this come back to be a tps that is not throwing a code??
any help is greatly apprecitated. and hope my typing isnt too bad, lol. thanks , joe

The tps for one thing can cause this, a full scan will help you see if is a problem. There are internal trans solenoids that can also cause skewed shift patterns. Make sure the trans modulator hose is hooked up and has vacuum to it..
