Hi there and welcome. There are a few members of this forum (myself included) in Johannesburg.

There is also a healthy scale model club here, meeting once a month. As it happens the meeting is this Saturday, if you're interested. Bring your cars with you. We could use a few more car builders!

Meetings are usually held in the Delville Room at the SA War Museum (next to Johannesburg Zoo), starting at 13h00.

Jeeeez.... I spent 9 months in JHB and never knew that there is a scale model club. Went on a lonely search for hobby shops, bought some supplies and never got around to really building anything because I was traveling most of the weekends. D'oh!
