I am currently converting my 2000 dodge intrepid from 2.7 to 3.2. This has become the norm among 2.7 owners as of late.:shakehead If anybody has any helpful input I would greatly appreciate it. For those of you thinking about the conversion yourself ask away I have done my fair share of research and found some great help along the way. I am about half done with mine now.

I have done 3 of them so far and the cheapest way is get a donor car instead of the kit.The advantage with the donor car is that you have the parts on hand instead of making trips to the auto salvage yard.

I agree unfortunatly I didn't. I found a beautiful 3.2 with only 33,000 miles but it had already been parted out. No alt., no starter, no a/c compressor, no power steering pump, and the idiots cut the wiring harness off while taking it out of the car. So in turn I have to buy all of this in addition to the throttle and cruise cables and all the belts and hoses, very costly:2cents:. Hindsights 20/20 but if I had it to do over again I would have found a wrecked car with a 3.2. May take longer to locate, but it will save you a lot of time and money.:iceslolan
