Hello all. For the past year or so I've been working on this lambo and progress has basically halted for a good while because I've have been trying to find ways to wire the 12 point distributor. Wiring the spark plugs are not an issue . I have tried scratch building my own distributor with my own boots from black hoses from detail master but it looks out size, and just ugly.
I have the right dia for the boots and wires, so that does not concern me. The issue is wiring the distributor without losing accuracy to the model. I have recently proposed a solution. I am think of trying tamiya light curing putty to fuse the ends of the spark plug wire to the distributor. The idea is that the joint made by the putty will resemble boots that would look realistic in size.
BTW the plastic distributor is far too small to drill and thread wire though.
Though I have never used the light curing putty, but it does look smooth, and the fact that it cures in 1 minute really makes me think I can get the wiring done with this. I know this may seem confusing but for those who have built this kit they will know what I mean.
Any ideas or suggestions? Can this putty do what I need it to?
