Bad scooter!!

Scooter problems, scooter was running but noticed this day was using too much fuel. scooter died, started one more time went about 1/4 of a mile. Has fuel, spark, compression, new plug, but was low on oil, will not even fire with either??? Please help!!! 150cc linhai/yamaha

This may have already been part of your "diagnosis", but is there any chance you bought bad fuel? Or maybe that the fuel is old?

Have you tried pouring a little pre-mix gas directly in the cylinder to see if if fires? If it does then dies, you're not getting enough fuel through the carb. If it still doesn't, your spark is too weak which could be caused by a bad ignition module/transducer or bad/mis-adjusted points if no electronic ignition.

Leave it beside the road and buy a real bike. :biggrin: :sarcasm1:
