So, I finally learned my lesson. I recently raced a 1996 camaro z28 ss and won, but to the cost of my car im thinking. During the race, I sped ahead and felt great that I won due to the cocky ass driving the camaro. As we turned a corner I saw a car that looked like an undercover cop, so I let off of the acceleration. It turned out to not be an undercover police officer, so as the camaro sped by I stepped on the gas. My eclipse didnt accelerate. I tried for a few seconds longer and then my wheel locked up, I couldnt break or anything. I pulled my e-break and came to realize not only had I overheated it, I also was well due for an oil change. Since then, oil is leaking from the side of the engine block, not from underneath the car but from the side, leaking down and off of the side of the block. I drove it home not knowing oil was leaking from it. I went and bought some oil and anti-freeze and changed my oil/refilled the anti-freeze, and let it sit for a few days. I drove it fine for about thirty minutes, but after that thirty minutes I came to a complete stop at a light, and my car completely shut down and stalled. After this, it started knocking. Knocking is never good, and im thinking I may need a new engine. But, if anyone knows any information about this, any type of enlightenment would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you blew a head gasket the first time... Now it sounds like it's going to need totally rebuilt... Good luck with it...
