3.4 to 3.1 engine swap will this work?

I might purchase a 1995 GTP with the DOHC 3.4. It has a bad motor. I have a 1995 SE with a 3.1. If I drop the whole cradle, computer, etc from the 3.1 and transplant it into the 3.4 and plug the harness in, will it run? Do the K frames line up? I'm only using it for a race car, so I wouldn't care about the power windows, etc. working. Just wanted to know before I purchased the car. thanks
