Done up 4doors

Hey guys, im really looking into a 4door civic instead of a hatch or CRX. Reason be i drove an older 4door civic and it was sweet! But if i did get a 4 door, i would want to put it in air-bags, paint it black, tint the windows, and have it somewhat "stunna" if you will :P. If anyone can show me such a car with the extreme body kit on it, or anything similar, please share, thanks!

Also, if I were to get a 4door, what trim level would I want??

To give you some ideas, I will post my buddy's 4 door. He just sold it over the weekend to a kid for $2000. He had air cylinders on it too.

2 grand is all he got!! seems like such a waste, well at least he enjoyed it while he had it.

Yeah, he got rid of it for $2000, no lie! I really liked his car. It was so unique, there is not a single one like his in the entire city of Bradenton that was modded like his was. He has had that car ever since it was bone stock. I remeber the day he got it, back when we were in high school in the 10th grade... Oh well. :rolleyes:

heres the back and sides with Xtreme on it ( the black one ) and the silver one, has the Xtreme front if u want to mod a CRX bumper to fit yers..

If you do air cylinders and run low profile tires, then there is no need for a cheap looking side kit, right? I like the look of layin body,not side skirts or bumper covers

That black one is nice, but the silver one doesn't show up. Does anyone have any more pics?

i'm selling mine. $4500 with sound system. boise, idaho. 100,000 miles. this car has been perfectly kept. oil changed every 2500 miles personally by me. new clutch, new radiator. no accidents. paint is almost PERFECT.

oh yeah, interior is PERFECT as well. I detail this car weekly. No cracks in the dash, no tears in the seats. I proudly use only Armor-All products on this car, as well as any car that I detail. I will take the price down if you don't want the sound system.

after running my hatch for umm 3 months now ... i would take back my 4dr ANY DAY!

there is no modding of a CRX bumper, I have two Extreme bumpers for sale in the Classifieds section, and from what I know they both fit the 4dr

how much without the system? $4,500 is really high unless you got $3000 worth of system in there..

This car has cylinders, full body kit, stereo, full interior -

without the system i would ask 3900.

you are not going to lay body without doing a unibody drop, no matter how low profile your tires are, the cylinders go down only so far and stop, my friend has 15s and i have 17s and they sit the same when aired out.

Why is the 94 4dr so much lower than.(the one Melt posted)

That car is so low, it sits like 1/2 inch from the ground at all times, its insane, no scratches, nothing! No side skirts look way better to me, side skirts look like your trying to make it look lower than it really is. Put the money you save from not getting side skirts and bumper, just do a body drop and do it right the first time.

Do you know how hard it is to BODY DROP A UNIBODY - there is no lower frame to unbolt it from and lower it down. 92+ civic have larger wheel wells, so they can go a little lower, but most of it is the suspension setup, air cylinder brand and stuff. Some cylinders go lower than others. Also air bags will always go lower than cylinders too.

To be honest with you, no i didnt so thanks for the correction bro.... I don't know alot about civics so my bad.

Ive experienced bags myself and have not dealt with air cylinders, but I do know the 94 Melt posted has air cylinders, rides sorta stiff it seems but look like it handles great.(Went to our college)

Put the money you save from not getting side skirts and bumper, just do a body drop and do it right the first time.

I also said save up some more money.So if side skirts and bumper painted and was like $1,000, you need to save up $1500 more or so, not, you could get a body drop for that price. I just love the look of a car laying on the body not side skirts, just my opinion. He asked for suggestions, so that was mine and I was a little off and admitted it.

in my opinion, hondas shouldn't be bagged at all. granted it's a cool concept and all, but if i were to bag a car, i'd choose an old school impala or a buick regal or some shit like that.. the spoke rims and other flashy chrome just doesn't fit in with the import machine... again, my opinion.

I agree with you dude...that pimped up 4-door with the chrome wheels and shit looks like it doesn't fit in at all :(

I know what you mean. I always tell my friends that crome does not belong on ANY import. Crome belongs on luxuary cars, trucks, and SUV's.

Cylinders on the otherhand, are o.k. but only if it is a "show" car... not a Honda thats built for speed. Thats my opinion too. :D

-what if its a showcar thats an import too ? minez gonna be a show car, but i'm also gettin a b16. you know the chromed engine and all. If it was a showcar, would it be aight to get chrome wheels in yer opinions ??
