cigarette lighter not hot when ignition key removed

Anyone know how to keep power to the cigarette lighter when ignition turned off and key removed. I have a 2009 sonata V6 ltd.

I noticed that about the Sonata...it has a bad habit of turning everything off when you take the key out. Including cigarette lighters and cell phone chargers...to my knowledge there's no way to change this.

It's standard for Asian cars.

you can rewire the cig lighter to a hot terminal,when the key is off,at the fuse block or batt.,make sure to put a fuse inline.
