The automatic headlights are on all the time. The sensor on the dash I think is suppose to have a cover on it. there is none would that make a difference? If it is the sensor how do I replace it? Also somebody changed the dash to a flamed dash would that make a difference?

The sensor should look like a little black bubble. You can disable the automatic lights by pressing the dome/override button 3-4 times quickly. The truck will chime when you have overriden the lights.

Check to make sure nothing is shorted with the sensor and that it is not pushed down in the dash as happens a lot.
